Can you collect a car that will not start or drive?

Yes. We run covered flatbed recovery across Dubai for non-runners, accident-damaged cars and low vehicles that cannot be driven onto a standard tow truck. Tell us the situation when you book and we send the right truck — for breakdowns, our emergency line operates 24/7.

How much does a car service cost in Dubai at BRITFIX?

Accepted Answer

A minor service starts from AED 399 and a major service from AED 649, with the exact price depending on your car and engine. An oil change starts from AED 150 and computer diagnostics from AED 150. Every job is quoted in writing before any work starts, so the number you approve is the number you pay.

How do your prices compare to the dealership?

Typically 30–50% below dealership pricing for the same work using OEM or OEM-equivalent parts. The saving comes from independent labour rates and parts sourcing, not from cutting the job down — you get a written quote first either way, so you can compare like for like.

Do you give quotes before starting work?

Always. Every job — from an oil change to a gearbox rebuild — gets a written estimate before work begins, and nothing beyond it is done without your approval. If we find something extra during the job, we photograph it, price it and ask first.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and bank transfers. You can choose to pay after the service is completed, or pay upfront when booking online.

What's included in your warranty?

All our repairs come with a warranty — the exact term depends on the job and the parts fitted, and is stated on your quote. It covers both parts and labor for the specific service performed.

Do you use original (OEM) parts?

Yes, we use original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts or certified equivalent parts that meet or exceed OEM specifications. You can choose your preference when booking.

Will independent servicing void my manufacturer warranty?

Accepted Answer

No. UAE rules protect your manufacturer warranty when maintenance follows the official schedule using OEM parts — we do both and document everything on the invoice, so the dealership cannot refuse warranty cover for maintenance done here.

Which car brands do you service?

Accepted Answer

All makes and models. Our specialism is British and European marques — Range Rover, Land Rover, Jaguar, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Audi and Bentley — with brand-correct diagnostic platforms for each, but Japanese, American and Korean cars are serviced daily too.

Can you diagnose a warning light or strange noise?

Yes — computer diagnostics start from AED 150 and include a full-system scan with a written findings report. We run dealer-level diagnostic platforms rather than generic code readers, so faults are traced to the component, not just to a code, before anything is quoted.

Do you do pre-purchase inspections?

Yes, from AED 299. A 150+ point inspection covering engine, gearbox, suspension, brakes, electronics, accident history indicators and a road test, with a written report the same day — well worth it before committing to any used car in Dubai.

Do you repair gearboxes and air suspension in-house?

Accepted Answer

Yes — both are core specialisms. Automatic gearbox servicing and rebuilds (including ZF 8-speed, DSG and PDK) and per-corner air suspension repair happen in our own workshop. Many cars quoted elsewhere for a replacement gearbox actually need a fluid service, which is why we diagnose before we quote.
